About the producer
In 1862, Dupré Barbancourt founded a rum distillery in Haiti bearing his name. He applied the traditional French distillation method to sugar cane juice and the aging process in oak barrels from Limousin, as practiced in the production of cognac in his native Charente.
Color/Nose : Perfectly crystalline. This young rum has floral notes with hints of tart citrus fruits. Mouth : The entry in the mouth is spicy, with green notes reminiscent of fresh sugar cane juice and eucalyptus. Final : The finish is dry with light peppery notes.
