Rich, Vibrant & Biodynamic from Mendoza
Doña Silvina Family Selection Malbec showcases the bold character of Mendoza’s biodynamic vineyards in Maipú. Made exclusively from young organic Malbec grapes harvested in mid-to-late March, it's handcrafted in small batches—fermented in stainless steel and aged 12–14 months in French oak (95%) with a touch of American oak, followed by 6 months in bottle before release.
Aromatics & Palate
Cloaked in deep purple color, the nose bursts with mature plum, blackberry, and nuanced chocolate and vanilla undertones. On the palate, expect rich dark fruit balanced by vivacious acidity, velvety tannins, and a long, spice-laced finish. Vintage-specific reviews mention notes of black cherry, tobacco, cinnamon, and anise supported by refined oak integration.
Serving & Pairing Suggestions
Best served at 16–18 °C, ideally decanted briefly to open the aromas. This wine pairs beautifully with grilled steak, venison, savory lamb dishes, black bean chili, and dark chocolate desserts. For vegetarian pairing, try mushroom ragouts or portobello burgers.
