This limited bottling captures a terroir shaped by schist soils, natural woodland, and the cooling influence of a nearby stream—resulting in deeply concentrated Mencía with rare identity and finesse. 

Powerful Yet Poised, Rich Yet Refined

First impressions: inky ruby color with a garnet rim. On the nose expect blueberry pie, dark chocolate, rosemary, and savory smoke. On the palate, bright red and black berries lead into cocoa‑covered espresso bean, saddle leather, olive, and eucalyptus notes. A backbone of athletic tannins and serious structure supports a lingering, savory finish.  Critics have rated this wine highly—consistently scoring around 91–92/100 for its intensity, elegance, and ageworthiness.
