SirDavis Rye Whiskey is much more than a celebrity brand—it’s an homage to Beyoncé’s great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, a Prohibition-era moonshiner. Created in collaboration with Moët Hennessy and Scotch whisky legend Dr. Bill Lumsden, this straight rye is an unconventional marriage of 51% rye and 49% malted barley, finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The result is a whisky that balances American grain-forward spice with Old World softness.

From the moment you pour it, SirDavis reveals a deep copper color and aromas of dried cherry, raisin, orange peel, and warm spice like clove and nutmeg, layered with malted grain sweetness and subtle toffee hints . The palate leads with rye spice and herbal bite, tempered by notes of creamy toffee, roasted peanuts, dark chocolate, and juicy candied citrus—all woven together with hints of oak and raisin from the PX sherry finish . The finish leans dry and tannic, reminiscent of a bold red wine with echoes of cherry, honey, and lingering rye heat.
