About Old Forester
In 1870, George Garvin Brown created Old Forester on Louisville’s famous Whiskey Row at 322 W. Main St. Old Forester was "America’s First Bottled Bourbon" – the first bourbon to be sold in sealed glass bottles instead of from barrels, to ensure consistent quality.
Old Forester 1910 Old Fine Whisky is the fourth member of the Old Forester Whiskey Row Series, which invites bourbon lovers to taste their way through Old Forester bourbon history through each unique expression. It's inspired by the 1910 fire on the bottling line, which forced mature whisky to go into secondary barrels, resulting in a delightful whisky. This Kentucky bourbon whiskey features a smooth, well-rounded mingling of sweet oatmeal raisin cookie and milk chocolate leading into caramel corn and evolving spice. Each whisky bottle delivers aromas with interlaced layers of buttercream, sticky toffee, cedar and apricot and a finish of charred oak that leads with a clean peripheral spice. It undergoes a second barreling, creating exceptional character, a smooth and sweet flavor and a clean, crisp finish. Old Forester whisky is great for alcohol drinks, whether you like sipping it neat, on the rocks, or in mixed drinks like a classic Old Fashioned cocktail. This whisky received recognition in The Ultimate Spirits Challenge. Old Forester: A Brand of Firsts. Please Drink Responsibly.
